Qualification: B.A., Ll.B.
Bedver joined WB&I Inc in 1972, became senior partner in 1987 and managing director in 2000 upon incorporation of the firm. He is also admitted as a practising solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. His primary areas of expertise are in the commercial arena involving international contracts, insurance and maritime law, specialised High Court litigation, business management and Ports Authority work.
He has served, inter alia, on the Council of the KwaZulu-Natal Law Society, the Board of Control of the Fidelity Fund, the Board of the Law Society's School for Legal Practice, and as a Trustee of the South African Game Fishing Association. Bedver is a keen conservationist and enjoys swimming, fishing and the outdoors.
He is married to Juliet and they have three children.
